PEOPLE OF GOD

These people, this institution
Who sleep on the street
Have been termed citizens
But do they get that treat?
Their life is rough, as rough can be
From railway line, to the airport street
They see dreams, like a man should see
But their every dream is mere fantasy
They come from the villages with big’ol hopes
But what do they find they end up on the roads
They sometimes think what were their wonder goals
But when they look bellow their hands carry a bowl
They are human beings they have a soul
They also have children who Play Street ball
Their very morning is the same
With a bowl in their hand and calling god’s name
By singing melodies they try to get the attention
Of the people who pass by giving them something handsome
People say “some work you do.”
But I ask, “who gives them work do you?”
In the day so bright and the sun scorching high
Sometimes standing standing they say goodbye
And sometimes they want to go but do not die
They are humans but we treat them like mice
People O people don’t you realize?

THE DREAM LAST NIGHT

The miracle land is my place
I have the nights I have the days
I really make you amaze
I control your routine phase
This the sky told me once at my face
Come with me to a wonder ride
To the places brighter than bright
To the places for greatest sights
And you will lose your greatest fright
Said the sky who was higher than heights
I sat down on his cotton seat
And I went to the miracle land so sweet
It took me somewhere hotter than heat
And also somewhere neater than neat
It shook me and said there are still many’er to meet
It took me to a blackish ring
Where I could see my ancestors sing
Where I saw the kings of king
Where Akbar the great was still aiming to begin
And also the agitation of the great Bhagat Singh
I said to myself what’s next I can’t think
It took me to the future that I can’t explain
The aim of the evil the evil aim
Where the Man had become the devil as I exclaim
What to call them I had no name
I hate those people whom to which I blame
Now the wonder hole was done
We went till the moon we went till the sun
Then my father carried out, “wake up son!”
Soon I realized that my dream was just a fiction
But I won’t forget this dream for reason some

FOR MANKIND, OUR LIVES

Great of greats, who ever lived,
Were by lord to mankind gived.
Reforming thy from living in sorrow,
They bit by bit made thy’s tomorrow.

Born and brought up, not truly in your highnesses palace,
But in the lands which were truly fruitless.
Facing atrocities in their partial life,
They made their future on the edge of knife.

They were ever seen in the scholars of merit,
They had enthusiasm, they had spirit.
When there was a crisis of, “every man for himself”,
They dedicated their lives to save thyself.

When the faulty leaders played their evil game,
They made thy realize, “what’s thy’s actual aim”.
Quoth they, “thy is fallowing whose voice in advise?
Just like the bagpiper had to the lake droved the cities mice”.

They made thy realize what’s thy’s mistake,
And also showed thy non-violent path to take.
They gave their life for thy’s sake,
Just the thought, “thy’s future to make”.

Due to their noble deeds they became immortal,
In the hearts of us creatures ‘mortal’.
Will these great ever again be seen?
Show they would, when the water would go across its seam.

PADDY’S SIXTH SENSE

Once having coffee, at its table
I glimpsed over the horse’s stable
I went till there to meet Paddy
It was my white horse my dearest buddy
“Hee Hee!” It went at my sight
Cause it knew it was time for a ride
Off! We went round the countryside
And rode and rode from eve till night
At night the forest wasn’t so gay
Now I knew we had lost our way
The trees now began to creep
And also I the rider began to weep
Where do we go, what do we find
This thought didn’t leave my mind
Again we rode in search of a miracle
But found out that we went round a circle
Paddy my friend
Had a very strong brain
It was up to something again
Which I was finding very strange
It looked at the sky, and followed a star
I don’t know how
But it certainly took us far
We came to a place with lush green land
The place where the meadows sang
Just like a joyful band
“The grassy bed!”, I exclaimed
I had ever been there since I was kid
“Bless you Paddy! You saved my life
Now I know why you followed that light
It was your sixth sense it was inspite
I know now what makes you so bright”
By this hour it was midnight
In it’s stable I made Paddy light
Went inside my cottage and had a sleep tight

KING OF WONDERLAND

These flowers, these trees
Are just for me
This blanket of grass
This fragrance so sweet

These waters so cool
The heaven so blue
The stars so bright
Like my firefly’s light

The trees so green
The ocean scream
The crystal’s shine
Are all mine

The birds that sing
The roses ring
Are eager to
Crown their king

The dawn from the east
The dusk from the west
Have worn their
Best coloured dress

The ku-koo, the peacock
Are making me hip-hop
To rejoice with them
As their king is send

For every creature
This is my wonderland
I am father nature
Do come again

ANSWER THE LORD

Mortal creatures who are by evil led
Realize once have to end up on the fatal bed
And when the answer would be the demand of the great lord
Quoth the lord, “what did thee do to please me god?”
There the tongue would not utter
And slip past like a fly from the butter
“No word should thee say”, quoth the lord
“What thy made use of his hand should narrate thy’s worth”
There the status would not be a factor
For every man from every sector
There the heaven would be on stake
There the question would be asked for thy’s faith
What thy did for himself
His dedication to the lord aswell
God created this world
And God would take it
In thy’s short lifespan
He has to look for his fortune
Or himself make it
